Maybe that's what I need
Another life,
One that does not feel
what others find too much
Another life that insures my teeth
that does not see animals as meat
One that doesn't want to just eat
Another life that considers
the forgotten and the wounded
that has compassion as a priority
Another life that cares for my eyes
One that has seen enough to be fair
Another life that remembers
and can shed light on who cares
and love above and beyond
what is considered too much...
